Bad Feet = Bad Knees
Many of us have been trained to walk in shoes and the shoes are not made to fit our feet. We don’t realize the wear and tear we put on our knees by not wearing the proper shoes. When we recognize the bend in our shoes, then it’s a clear indication of how I structure is reforming our bones and joint. We are locking our knees when we walk therefore we’re limiting the circulation back to our heart and brain. These people can’t squat and stand back up because they get light headed/ dizzy and fall down. The connection between the brain and the knees is called Orthostatic Hypotension, where the blood pressure doesn’t balance as quickly as you stood up. We’ve been trained to walk wrong and evolution has decreased our blood circulation.
Do we really care how our children’s bones are developing? We look at their body structure to make sure that during puberty, they don’t need any corrective bone remodeling, braces or orthodontics. We check if they’re knock kneed, bowed legged or pigeon toed?
We could’ve corrected this if we knew better but we decided to buy Jordan’s Bo Jackson’s or even Shaq’s. These shoes ruin our posture and debilitate our structure over the years. Pay attention if your child old shoes are worn down on the right or left heel. Pay attention if the arch drops inward or if they are flat footed. Pay attention yourselves if you tend to lean to the right or left mostly. These are markers that indicate your weaker side rather its stabilizing condition or degenerative condition.
One of the most critical things you can do to correct any pain is to stabilize your feet. Almost all the time the patient that has bad knees also has bad feet. Bad feet affect the whole body; from the shoulder to the pelvis, to the knees and ankles. If your arch drops, it will usually cause pain on the same side and the knee. If your knee pain is caused by your bad arches then no matter how much you do exercise or go to a chiropractor, it’s never going to stabilize. Bad feet will just keep pulling the knee out of place.
You must lose weight and take the pressure off your joints. For example, take one pound of extra weight causes significant impact on your knees. If you walk one mile you measure force time distance, that would be an extra 4800 pounds of pressure you’re exerting into your knee joint.
My recommendation is to correct is problem early and if you don’t correct it early start using orthodontics which will level your feet. So instead of spending $200 on Jordans, or wearing 6 inch heels, have a doctor has to customize these for you but it will put the arch back in your foot and realign your knee and spine.
