Now that certain people are waking up or at least becoming alert of the products they are consuming, that craving for your old ways will reoccur. Yes I know, it’s like going through withdrawal when you smell your favorite food.
So now you looking down at your scrabbled eggs with a frown on your face saying “Ras told me this was a baby chicken”…LOL. Yea so think of the depression, trauma and stress this hen(female chicken) has gone through knowing that some of eggs won’t get a chance to even develop. Animals do have intelligence although farmers alter their cognitive reception with antibiotics and growth hormones, they also have a menstruation(period). I’m sorry this sounds gross but a little science must be explained. Lol.
Hens have a menstruation cycle that can be daily at certain times of the year. Like humans, hens have ovaries, though only the left ovary develops fully, this ovary sends a yolk on its path. The yolk forms an “egg white” as it moves through the reproductive tract into the shell gland. The shell takes about 21 hours to form and “Cluck!”—out pops an egg!
