The Most Important Organ to Detox

by ShalomHealth / Monday, 08 June 2015 / Published in Health

livercleanser2The Liver is the prime organ for detoxification. Its role is to filter blood, store glucose for energy, break down steroid so hormones can produce and secrete bile. The body has a system called a Toxic Stress Cycle. The liver is so busy filtering toxins that sometimes it doesn’t filter everything. If the liver can not handle the burden that it’s faced with because of lack of nutrients (Organic Vegetables), it stores the toxins in the fat cells. This is called the Extra Cellular Matrix. Toxins causes free radical damage which means on the outside of each cell wall there is a bio-film that toxins likes to hide in and causes damage. The immune system doesn’t recognize it so when they break loose, you start having problems.

For instance, if you eat a plant from the earth that might have lead in it, the liver would get it and break it down into disposable material and send it to the gallbladder. Then the gallbladder sends it to the intestines and the intestines take it out of the body.
