
There are many people that try so hard in getting that extra belly fat off, ladies you know that after pregnancy weight that is stubborn, and no matter how much you work out and eat healthy, you still can’t lose weight! I know what ‘s going on! Let’s talk about it….

In my detoxification article I talked about the word “Lepton”. The reason people are eating too much is not because they are given bigger plates of food but rather because they can’t control their appetite and they develop Lepton Resistance. Lepton is the hormone that’s secreted from our fat cells that tells us to stop eating. But when people get overweight and obese they become resistant to Lepton and so they eat more than they need. I also know that obese people have a problem of low energy, they actually have reduced energy. One of the reason is sitting watching TV, because they don’t have the energy to exercise. So there is the reduced energy that occurs in people who are overweight and the longer you are obese you begin losing ATP(Adinosine Triphosphate) in the mitochondria that makes energy in your body, therefore you become energy deficient.
What is the primary mechanism to Obesity?
HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) stops and impairs Lepton in your body. The processed food companies use this so after you finish a meal you can still be hungry. Primarily, Fructose is the key culprit of obesity. Fructose-fed people become lepton resistant and they start losing their control of appetite and eat more. They become sluggish, less active, and it blocks energy production in the mitochondria. Fructose raises triglycerides, causes insulin resistance and causes fatty liver. This is what causes diabetes!
Ghrelin tells your body you’re hungry. The best way to minimize ghrelin is to consume more protein, eat more mid-glycemic meals( The way food impact blood sugar in your body) For example, rice cake has a glycemic level of 95 which will increase blood sugar leels but when you put almond butter on it, it slows down the insulin release. The key is to eat minimum small meals through out the day to keep your blood sugar level even all day.
The addiction to sugar when you eat fructose you lose your ability to control appetite over time. It can cause food addiction, a sugar addiction. We have these sweet receptors in our taste buds and when they get activated they cause a dopamine response in the brain and that stimulate pleasure. It is pleasurable eating chocolate cake and most of us have felt this pleasure. Some people it’s more powerful and others its not so powerful. But what happen is it encourages us to eat it again!
Another thing is a lot of people are saturated with estrogen. We live is a sea of estrogen! If you have a large belly or bigger abdomen, estrogen prevents weight loss because it sabotages the thyroid function. Think, if your body is toxic, your body will hold on to the fluid and weight because your body uses fat as the toxic dumping ground.
Even some vegetarian wonder why they can’t lose weight. How can you be an overweight vegetarian? Because you are trying to balance Junk foods with healthy foods. The law of thermodynamics says when given too much food and exercising too little, you will intake too much energy that doesn’t burn enough energy. Whatever is leftover is turn into fat!
